Cynthia Phakos co-founded Koffka/Phakos Design with Adrian Koffka in 2002.  Previously, she worked at architectural firms for 18 years on large-scale institutional projects including laboratory buildings, K-12 schools, dormitories, and office buildings.  Since forming her firm she has worked on over 300 residential and small-scale commercial buildings. 

Cynthia has been a California-licensed Architect since 1992.  She is a LEED AP and has been active in the USGBC and the AIA Committee on the Environment. She received a Master of Architecture from Harvard’s Graduate School of Design, a Master of Science in Design (Interior Design) from the University of Massachusetts, and a BA from Allegheny College.
