Adrian has worked for 20 years in architecture and urban planning. He has extensive experience in master planning, housing and institutional work and combines practicing architecture with teaching and writing. He has served on building committees and sustainability committees of non-profit institutions. At Koffka/Phakos Design, he spends much of his time on site to guide contractors in carrying through the designs' intent.

Cynthia has over 25 years experience in the Architecture and Design profession, and has worked on a variety of building types. Her background in complex building types along with her design experience has given her the ability to approach a project, whatever scale, with creative solutions that will meet tight budgets and schedules. Cynthia is a licensed architect in California since 1992 and a LEED Accredited Professional since 2002. She is currently a co-chair Los Angeles Chapter of the Committee of the Environment (COTE), and writes for the US Green Building Council's (USGBC) Green Home Guide, under "Ask A Pro."
